THE ONLY BRIDGE LINKING OGBIA, NEMBE
AND BRASS LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA TO THE STATE CAPITAL, YENAGOA, HAS BEEN CUT OFF BY FLOOD
We learnt that, the level of the increasing water from the flood, had caused a shock on its pillar, and subsequently, led to the quick split from both sides.
In addition, we could see clearly from the above photos that, this has left Commuters (comprising of military personnels, police patrol teams, and other travelers) stranded.
However, Commuters in a bid to access Yenagoa from these affected LGAs, are advised to take more longer routes (over 3 times longer), ''the Okaki/Yenegue/Kolo road''.
Meanwhile, we also call upon NEMA and other appropriate authorities to come to their aide, before things get worse.
